renewable energy
Chelsea Evans Interiors is committed to eliminating Scope 2 Emissions (Indirect Emissions/Electricity) altogether by 2027. This will be accomplished by installing solar panels which offset 100% of electricity used by the business.
waste diversion
All reusable packaging materials from orders are diverted from landfills. Boxes are donated either to fellow small business owners who ship products, or to individuals needing moving boxes. All packing peanuts, bubble wrap, paper packaging, and other materials are donated to local small businesses that ship products. Any items that cannot be donated are properly recycled if possible. Vendors who frequently utilize excessive packaging materials that cannot be reused are noted and avoided in our sustainable vendor database.
office materials
Chelsea Evans Interiors is committed to utilizing sustainable office materials, including but not limited to: paper products made from FSC-certified wood, merchandise made from post-consumer recycled materials, client gifts from local makers, and limiting unnecessary design samples.
